My Plans for Stella and my Social Media in 2024

Since I wrote my book last year, I aim to publish it this year. I am confident that Stella will not only be a huge project for me but also for you, my dear reader.

Currently, I'm occupied with editing the first draft, and to be honest, I anticipate this will take until the end of February (hopefully). After that, it's time to finally, FINALLY get the paperwork with the publisher done. In my dreams, the entry of the Stella saga will find its light in this world at the end of 2024. However, I think it might be 2025. It depends on how fast the publisher says yes and what ideas they bring to the table.

I also look forward to working with Liliyth. She is planned as the cover designer for Stella. Another significant aspect I'm eagerly anticipating. We have briefly discussed the cover, and she really liked my idea. So now, I'm just looking forward to seeing what she will make out of it.

In addition to publishing the book, I have other plans. Building this website, for example, is one of them:D

I want to upgrade and rebuild my entire social media appearance. I began this project back in 2023 on my Instagram, deleting old photos, and carefully considering what to post. The next part will be TikTok.

I've been on TikTok for more than 2 years now, and the success has been okay-ish, I think. I posted some good stuff, especially the writing advice, which was useful, but it seemed not to garner much attention. After that, I tried comedy. Which was clicked on more but I hated.
The only thing I did last year and truly liked, was my short series about weekly updates on my writing. Needless to say, the clicks were not astounding on that one since I only talk for 60 seconds, but this one was for me.

But now, what will I change, what is my big plan? Well, I thought a LOT about this one. What would content look like that I like to make and at the same time, people like to watch, that is NOT educational? My answer -> Short Movies.
I am a storyteller; I studied Media, and I take pictures. TikTok is a video platform, so why not use my knowledge and do the one thing I'm really good at: telling stories.
So, I began to plan short sketches, not more than 20-30 seconds long, that I could film alone, and yeah, I loved it. You will see these across all my social media from now on.
The stories I tell in these clips will be fragmented and show scenes from Stella without giving too much information so new readers can enjoy them without feeling spoiled. As well as scenes that I planned but didn't make it into the book or just short daydreams about Luna's life or thoughts.

I really hope that this idea will finally be one that is sustainable as well as liked.

But there is more. I also plan on starting YouTube again. The videos I will do there will be set free from Stella and more like stories about my life, my learnings, and just stories I haven't told yet.
Of course, there is more in my life than social media and writing. Cosplay, for example. For this year, I want to upgrade Luna's sword, as well as making a complete new cosplay.
I also want to attend as Luna at cosplay competitions, for which I've already begun to learn some new moves and to train again. So be ready for a sword show at, I would say, Dokomi 2024.

Yeah, I think that wraps up all my thoughts for my journey as an author so far. Okay, this is only a glimpse, and I'm way too spontaneous, so let's just see what 2024 will truly hold for me. (I will still try to do the stuff I talked about. I just know that there will be SO much more.)
